My name is Mary Arellanes. My nickname, Miss Mary, was coined by a soldier in my husband's unit when I started working with the Family Readiness Group and it STUCK!
First and foremost I am wife to Vinnie a Sergeant in the United States Army Reserve. I am Mother to Raymond, Heather, Kaleb, Jimmy, David, and Tiffany (yes that is 6). I am also Grandmother to Emilee, Zoey, and Franklin.
My best friends in the whole world are my two wonderful, beautiful, and talented sisters, Patty and Peggy! They are absolutely my mentors and who I want to be like when "I grow up".
I have six brothers and two sisters. Yes, I have a huge family! Most people cannot keep up with the extended family members. It took my husband quite a long time to just keep track of my siblings!
Family means everything to me, even if we can't all get together all that often. When we are able to get together, I take a ton of pictures! I have boxes, totes, and albums filled with pictures, not to mention my computer hard drive and an external hard drive that are both full of pictures.
Cataloging those memories has become a major priority to me since my Mother past away and that is why I started scrapbooking. Now I am in love with not only preserving those memories but with the art of scrapbooking itself.
